WELCOME TO THE WEBSITE OF THE OCONEE RIVER KENNEL CLUB!

Oconee River Kennel Club, located in Watkinsville, Georgia, was established in 2006 as an all-breed, nonprofit organization.  We received our American Kennel Club, Inc (AKC) accreditation as an AKC affiliated club on June 16, 2008.  Oconee River Kennel Club is comprised of individuals interested in purebred dogs and includes breeders, exhibitors, and interested dog owners.  Our primary goals are to protect and advance the interests of all breeds of purebred dogs, to promote responsible pet ownership throughout our community, and to conduct sanctioned matches and dog shows under the rules of the American Kennel Club, Inc.

Our meetings are open to the public and visitors are welcome.  Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Oconee County Library, 1080 Experiment Station Road, Highway 53, Watkinsville, GA  30677.  Click here for a map.

PLEASE NOTE:  We will not be having a regular November or December meeting.  Instead we will have a Holiday Potluck on Monday, December 1, 2008 6:30 PM to 9:30PM at Watkinsville City Hall.  The address is 191 VFW Drive, Watkinsville, GA
